As a Human Resources Business Partner at ADVENTURE CANADA, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with experience in policy development, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Advise Managers and Employees: Interpret human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to ensure compliance and provide guidance to employees and managers.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to support business objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Occupational Classifications: Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to support talent management and compensation strategies.
  • Employee Data and Information: Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions.
  • Communication Strategies: Develop and implement communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages and benefits.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Talent Management: Recruit and hire staff, proposing improvements to methods, systems, and procedures to support business objectives.
  • Work Environment: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.

Requirements:

  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with a strong background in policy development, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and Project Management Software.
