Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Territory Manager to join our team at Virbac. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers in the Southwestern Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory results and grow sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including veterinarians, pet owners, and distributors
- Utilize strong business acumen to gain adoption of new products and services
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop and deliver educational presentations to customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, marketing, animal science)
- Minimum 2 years of professional-level experience in sales or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales principles and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify trends and opportunities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the animal health industry, with a strong understanding of the market and competitors
- Experience with sales software and tools, such as CRM systems and sales analytics platforms
- Ability to travel within the Southwestern Region, with occasional overnight stays
