As a key member of our team at CB Canada, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator I to support our operational functions. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to various management and operational teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clerical support to various management and operational functions, including data entry, filing, and report compilation.
- Review, research, and enter data in various systems to support respective functional areas.
- Compile data and provide regular and ad-hoc reports to management for review and determination.
- Serve as a frontline customer service representative to receive, solve, and escalate customer inquiries and issues.
- Assist management with Business Control Self-Assessment (BCSA) audit activity by retrieving data and/or files for review.
- Responsible for records management tasks such as maintenance, destruction, and inventory.
- Support timely delivery and mitigate loss and damage by performing address searches/corrections through various sources and ensuring packages are in good condition for the customer.
- Prioritize workflow to maximize the number of packages that can be resolved and sent out for delivery in the same day.
- Ensure all packages receive appropriate scan statuses. Inspect and handle hazardous material damages as per policy. Ensure all loose product is accounted for as per company policy.
- Research missing packages to understand the root cause of scanning failures and compile information on disputed deliveries for management review.
- Review and trend loss and damaged claims filed to identify improperly charged claims and bring to the attention of management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous clerical or customer service experience preferred.
- General business skills, including typing, data entry, and review, as well as software skills, including Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
- Customer service skills necessary to effectively and professionally respond to requests.
- Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
