Job Summary

Chandi Renovations Inc. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work at heights.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced construction environment
