Job Summary:

Recruit Action is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to join our team. As a Mailroom Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring a well-coordinated and professional front for visitors and colleagues alike, as well as efficient handling of office and record-keeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare mail and packages for shipment using fax, air express, freight, and postal services.
Receive, sort, and process incoming mail, packages, and supplies; notify recipients as required.
Conduct basic printing operations using color production printers.
Record and track accountable mail, maintaining detailed logs.
Manage shipping and receiving functions with automated systems.
Coordinate alternative courier or shipping services based on requirements.
Follow packaging standards for output preparation.
Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments.
Perform mail labeling, mail merge, and electronic distribution tasks.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent (required).
6 months to 1 year of experience in a professional setting, preferably client-facing.
1 to 2 years of experience in a mailroom environment.
Valid driver's license (required).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision.
Intermediate proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to operate high-volume mail and insertion equipment.
Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
