Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, professional liability coverage, and association dues.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a strong interest in surgery. As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for examining patients, developing treatment plans, and performing surgical procedures under the supervision of our experienced veterinarians.

You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of veterinary professionals, learn from our hospital's experienced staff, and participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Licensed (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Nova Scotia
  • Passion for what you do every day
  • Keen interest for surgery
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude are a must
  • A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both when dealing with clients and team members
