We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Clinical Care Specialist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will work 75 hours bi-weekly in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and public health centers.

The Advanced Clinical Care Specialist will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include conducting patient interviews, physical assessments, and medical histories; preparing treatment plans; ordering diagnostic tests; and working closely with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.

In addition to providing excellent patient care, the Advanced Clinical Care Specialist will also be responsible for collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure that patients receive comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Current certification as a physician assistant or equivalent
