Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous base salary, our Associate Veterinarian will also receive bonus potential, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, professional liability coverage, association dues, VIN membership, and outstanding medical and pet supply discounts.
Our clinic provides a brand-new X-ray machine and private surgery bay, allowing our veterinarians to perform procedures with ease and precision. We also offer a generous continuing education allowance, ensuring our team stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals. As a key member of our hospital, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, working closely with our clients to understand their needs, and collaborating with our experienced staff to ensure seamless communication and care.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both with clients and team members. A keen interest in surgery is essential, as is a passion for what you do every day. You will work in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same, and your enthusiasm, energy, and positive attitude will be invaluable assets to our team.
Requirements and Qualifications- Licensed (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Nova Scotia.
- Strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both when dealing with clients and team members.
