About the Role:

Astellas Pharma Canada is seeking a highly skilled Veeva Solution Lead to join our team. As a key member of our digital transformation initiative, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of Veeva Vault R&D solutions across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of end-to-end business processes and enterprise solutions that digitally empower and transform our business processes.
  • Value Maximization: Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and prioritize features and user stories that align with business goals and deliver maximum value.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Encourage and lead innovative approaches and solutions within the specific area of expertise. Lead the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance platform capabilities and performance.
  • Agile Advocacy: Champion agile methodologies within the organization, promoting best practices, and ensuring that agile principles are adhered to across teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the agile teams and external stakeholders. Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements effectively, managing expectations and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning sessions to align agile team efforts with long-term business objectives. Contribute to the product roadmap and release planning, ensuring a clear vision and direction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives and other continuous improvement efforts to analyze team processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that enhance productivity and quality.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and address risks that could impact the delivery of value. Work with teams and stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to value delivery, team performance, and stakeholder satisfaction. Use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on the progress of the various Value Teams and outcomes to your Capability Lead and team members.

Requirements:

  • Significant expertise in end-to-end business processes and enterprise solutions.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault R&D solutions.
