Veeva CRM and Salesforce Solutions Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in specialized mission teams to deliver impactful solutions that align with our strategic initiatives.
  • Architect, develop, and deploy robust full-stack applications utilizing Salesforce and contemporary technologies.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to comprehend user requirements and translate them into technical solutions that comply with architectural best practices.
  • Support engineers and developers in overcoming intricate technical challenges.
  • Keep architectural documentation current and relevant.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance performance, security, and maintainability of existing data and platform architecture.
  • Contribute to the continuous delivery pipeline by adhering to DevOps best practices for version control, automation, and deployment, ensuring effective management of the Value Team backlog.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in full-stack development on Veeva and Salesforce cloud platforms.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • At least 8 years of experience in supporting and configuring Salesforce applications, including Veeva CRM and Health Cloud, within a life sciences context.
  • Experience with multiple complex deployments of Salesforce applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Veeva CRM suite, including CLM, Approved Emails, Veeva Align, and MyInsights.
  • Expertise in integrations between Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault Promomats and MedComms.
  • Experience configuring Veeva Vault Promomats and MedComms.
  • Experience supporting integration between Veeva CRM and Veeva Network for mastering customer data.
  • Salesforce Developer Certification Level 1 and/or Level 2.
  • Proficient in Salesforce SOQL queries and various administration tools such as Workbench and Data Loader.
  • Experience in writing Salesforce APEX code.
  • Experience in architectural and code review processes.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data structures.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in the Life Sciences/Pharma industry across Commercial, Manufacturing, and Medical domains.
  • Cross-Cultural Experience in collaborating across diverse cultures and regions.
  • Innovative thinking and ability to propose creative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Preferred:

  • Salesforce Application or Technical Architect Certification.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Vault Platform Administrator Certification.
  • Experience with integration software such as MuleSoft.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in user authentication and authorization across multiple devices, including O'Auth and Azure Mobile Device Management.
  • Experience in other complex and highly regulated industries such as Finance and Medical.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to lead ad hoc analyses.
  • Proven track record in Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
