Purpose and Scope:

As a Solutions Architect within a team of professionals, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our digital initiatives within our agile organization. Our agile operating model comprises two key components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution focuses on aligning various missions with business objectives and facilitating broader collaboration. Conversely, Digital Capability emphasizes the growth and development of individuals within specific areas of expertise. This dual structure allows us to efficiently scale agile practices while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.

The Veeva CRM and Salesforce Solutions Architect is accountable for designing modifications to various applications, including Veeva CRM. The Architect will ensure that development and configuration adhere to architectural best practices, security standards, and performance requirements.

The Solutions Architect will guide business initiatives from ideation through exploration, technical design, scoping, implementation, and documentation. The Architect will also lead design sessions and provide technical direction to the development team. The Solutions Architect should possess excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical issues and effectively engaging with both IS and business stakeholders.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage in focused mission teams to deliver value-driven solutions aligned with our global initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable full-stack applications utilizing Salesforce and other modern technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend user needs and translate them into technical solutions that conform to architectural best practices.
  • Assist support engineers and developers in overcoming intricate technical challenges.
  • Keep architecture documentation current.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance performance, security, and maintainability of existing data and platform architecture.
  • Participate in the continuous delivery pipeline, adhering to DevOps best practices for version control, automation, and deployment while ensuring effective management of the Value Team backlog.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in full-stack development on Veeva and Salesforce cloud platforms.
