About the Role

Astellas Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Veeva Solution Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of Veeva solutions to drive business process excellence and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of clinical and regulatory affairs operations, business processes, and how Veeva solutions support these processes.
  • Value Maximization: Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and prioritize features and user stories that align with business goals and deliver maximum value.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Encourage and lead innovative approaches and solutions within the specific area of expertise, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance platform capabilities and performance.
  • Agile Advocacy: Champion agile methodologies within the organization, promoting best practices and ensuring agile principles are adhered to across teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between agile teams and external stakeholders, communicating progress, challenges, and achievements effectively.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning sessions to align agile team efforts with long-term business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives and other continuous improvement efforts to analyze team processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and address risks that could impact delivery of value, working with teams and stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators related to value delivery, team performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Advanced Degree: Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, data science, or business administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated relevant experience.
  • Business Process Understanding: Knowledge of clinical and regulatory affairs operations, business processes, and how Veeva solutions support these processes.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in specific end-to-end business processes and enterprise platform solutions that digitally enable and empower business processes.
  • Excellent Project Management Abilities: Excellent project management abilities, with a strong focus on delivering value and meeting business objectives.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and a proven track record of implementing and optimizing agile processes.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated Experience with Veeva Vault Clinical/Regulatory: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience with Veeva Vault Clinical/Regulatory.
  • Agile Champion: Adherence to DevOps principles and a proven track record with CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
