Job Summary:
The Capital Markets Operational Risk and Resilience team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Operational Resilience and Risk Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the global Operational Resilience, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity Management mandate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the global Operational Resilience, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity Management mandate to implement the Operational Resilience program, manage the crisis and incident response protocol, maintain business continuity documentation, facilitate business continuity testing, and execute tabletop exercise/scenario testing.
- Support the global Operational Risk mandate to maintain/enhance the Process, Risk, and Control (PRC) Library, conduct Operational Risk assessments, and execute on key Operational Risk projects and initiatives.
- Develop efficient, streamlined processes for information gathering and executive signoffs on documentation.
- Partner effectively with enterprise Resilience and Integration (R&I) to aid in Quality Assurance (QA) Review process completion.
- Manage call tree notification system updates.
- Conduct Scenario Testing with Ops Res team to identify gaps/vulnerabilities and establish actions plans for remediation (if required).
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, Finance, and/or relevant background.
- Graduate degree or professional designations in related discipline would be an asset.
- 5+ years of Banking/Financial Institution/Management Consulting experience with relevant Business Risk exposure, including Business Continuity, Operational Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Cyber Security, Third Party Risk, Technology Resiliency, Legal, AML, etc.
- Good understanding of the regulatory landscape and industry practices with respect to Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, and Operational Risk.
- Experienced in and effective at responding to and dealing with significant problems and crises.
- Demonstrated technical understanding of Capital Markets products, services, and systems.
- Knowledge of the various risks and controls associated with Capital Markets' business activities.
- Advanced Office Suite proficiency, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio, etc.
