TRS Staffing Solutions is a leading provider of technical and professional services personnel to various industries worldwide.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Negotiation Expert to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This 18-month contract position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year.

About the Role:

Job Description

As a Contract Negotiation Expert, you will be responsible for administering full contracting lifecycles safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company objectives.

You will develop and recommend contract strategies to improve safety, maintain operation continuity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance, including managing RFP processes, evaluating proposals, and handling contract execution and closure.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Material Management and at least 5 years of experience in pre-award and post-award projects managing the procurement process from sourcing suppliers to contract negotiation and implementation.

The successful candidate will also have experience in EPC, mining, oil & gas, maritime, construction, or owner side, as well as experience in procurement, contracts, and commercial terms.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Material Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in pre-award and post-award projects managing the procurement process from sourcing suppliers to contract negotiation and implementation
  • Experience in EPC, mining, oil & gas, maritime, construction, or owner side
  • Experience in procurement, contracts, and commercial terms
  • Software experiences: SAP, Ariba, MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
