About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our growing team at belairdirect. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our operations.

The successful candidate will develop and execute control validation frameworks, methodologies, and activities, working closely with stakeholders to identify and address issues through root cause analysis and process improvements.

In this dynamic role, you will analyze and present results and recommendations on processes and controls to key stakeholders, building key relationships across business functions and leveraging Risk, Audit, and peers around the world to adhere to policy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop remediation action plans to address issues identified through ongoing control validation and audits
  • Analyze and present results and recommendations on processes and controls to key stakeholders
  • Build key relationships across business functions and leverage Risk, Audit, and peers around the world
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure new and changing processes are appropriately controlled

Requirements:

  • College or University degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 3-5 years of audit and/or risk management experience (asset)
  • 3+ years within P+C insurance with knowledge of risk and control (asset)
  • Related insurance designations CIP, FCIP, CRM
  • Proactive and decisive thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and superior negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience consulting on risk, process & control assessments
  • Working knowledge of French (asset)
  • No Canadian work experience required; however, must be eligible to work in Canada

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $97,600.00
