We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Rice and Noodle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Kitchen Operations: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they are aware of all health and safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we are always stocked with the necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
