We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Pholicious Restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including entrees, sides, and desserts, using fresh ingredients and following established recipes.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
- Participate in menu planning and development, suggesting new dishes and ideas.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
