We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Kosoo Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, taking into account food allergies and intolerances, and special meal requirements as instructed by dietitians or chefs.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
As a Restaurant Cook at Kosoo Restaurant, you will work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities to ensure efficient kitchen operations. You will be part of a dynamic team that values teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment
