The Opportunity

This role is a field-based position in the Hamilton Area, focusing on the Diabetes Care Division. In this division, we're revolutionizing glucose monitoring with our innovative sensing technology. As a Medical Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in developing maximum sales growth in your assigned territory.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building a strategic territory plan to maximize sales by analyzing market dynamics and utilizing available information.
  • Growing sales and share of sensors and BGM test strips by educating and convincing HCPs to recommend Abbott products.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Pursuing continuous self-development to stay up-to-date on disease state knowledge, new products, and the changing business environment.
  • Communicating sales activity, follow-up, and reporting in a clear, concise manner while meeting administrative and project deadlines.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree combined with medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Superior selling and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to develop and present innovative solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
