**Job Summary**

The Liquor Supervisor is a key member of our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited, responsible for the overall operation of our Liquor store. This includes sales, delivering exceptional customer service, receiving merchandise, stocking products, cleaning shelves, assisting customers, merchandising and displaying products, creating end cap displays, maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Liquor store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Lead a team of retail staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Develop and implement merchandising and display strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta Liquor Regulations and Legislations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Liquor Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage cash handling, deposits, and till counting, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services, making recommendations to improve the store's offerings and customer experience.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in a retail environment, with 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving sales growth.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and other alcohol products.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Valid Pro-Serve Certificate or eligibility to obtain within 30 days.
