Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assign sales workers to duties, including cash handling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Authorize payments by cheque and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving stock, and ensuring that all products are properly stored and displayed.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including sales staff, stockroom staff, and customer service representatives.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to cash handling, customer service, and inventory management.
