About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Supervisor to join our team at Caliph Digital Ltd. as a key member of our technical support group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, as well as supervising and guiding other technical support analysts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions, and provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Supervision: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, and participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
  • Customer Service: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, and set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents, perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, and provide customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in Linux, HTML editing software, Salesforce, JavaScript, MS Office, and PHP.
  • Work Setting: Private company, corporation, or industry.
