Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Supervisor to join our team at 1469620 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to employees experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Leadership: Supervise and mentor other technical support workers, providing guidance and training to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Problem-Solving: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve technical support processes.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to employees, responding to their technical needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents and ensure that technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • System Administration: Perform system administration tasks, including setting up equipment, installing software, and performing backups and recovery operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Workplace Information: Hybrid work environment.
  • Other Benefits: Free parking available, parking available, permanent employment, English language, 30 to 40 hours per week.
