About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Supervisor to join our team at Caliph Digital Ltd. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, applications, and software.
  • Consult technical manuals, guides, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Offer advice and training to users to help them overcome technical difficulties.
  • Manage and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the design and development of new applications and software.
  • Supervise and lead a team of technical support workers to ensure efficient and effective support services.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users.
  • Install and configure computer equipment, operating systems, and software for employee use.
  • Perform backup and recovery operations for web servers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and manage incidents effectively.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, HTML editing software, Salesforce, JavaScript, MS Office, and PHP.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment
  • Private company, corporation, or industry.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent work term.
  • Work language: English.
