Join our team as a Strategic Talent Development Manager

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Next Generation Talent Team as a Strategic Talent Development Manager. This exciting role will focus on working with various Business Units and their People Partnering teams to provide strategic emerging talent solutions that meet their future business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver programmes aligned to the business units' future skills requirements, providing strategic recommendations to support their growth.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across People & Places to design, attract, recruit, and embed emerging talent programmes.
  • Lead and manage the cyclical activity of the emerging talent programmes, taking ownership of key projects and lending a hand elsewhere across the team where needed.
  • Bring external insight and analysis to improve our internal offering, providing a superior experience for programme participants.
  • Drive data-driven insights through MI analysis, informing recommendations to build new programmes or enhance existing propositions.
  • Promote the Youth Strategy and contribute to Group-level strategic papers, providing valuable input from the ground up.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Next Generation Talent at Lloyds Banking Group, promoting the schemes both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with diverse colleagues.
  • The ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and balance changing priorities with drive and energy.
  • Incisive analytical skills to advise on planning and decisions.
  • Awareness of the wider early career landscape, understanding its intricacies, and curiosity about its evolution.
  • A genuine passion for creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive opportunities for young people.
  • Experience working in or an understanding of one or more of the business units is highly desirable but not essential.
