At Scotiabank, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Operational Readiness Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The IT Operational Readiness Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and successful delivery of software releases, while maintaining IT operational readiness. This includes actively participating in global release management initiatives, collaborating closely with Change Management, and streamlining the introduction of changes into the production environment.

This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a day-to-day operations type environment governed by processes and procedures. You should be able to foster effective communication channels and stakeholder engagement, identify and communicate residual project risks, provide tailored training and education to end users, and contribute to the development of best practices within the SDLC framework.

About You
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience working in IT Operations and governance to ensure compliance to banks' risk management frameworks and policies.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, excellent user operational support skills, and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You have strong communication (verbal/written/comprehension) skills in English, along with organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team within a defined scope, pivot when needed, and write documentation related to processes, procedures, user guides, and training material.
