Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales performance.
- Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity.
- Merchandise Management
- Order merchandise, ensuring timely receipt and accurate inventory management.
- Authorize the return of merchandise, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Customer Service
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Financial Management
- Authorize payments by cheque, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Manage cash, ensuring accurate and secure handling of cash transactions.
- Store Operations
- Establish work schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient stock management.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Permanent employment.
- 35 hours per week.
- Language
- English.
