Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Stedmans V&S Department store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Sales and Merchandising: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth, manage merchandise, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Financial Management: Manage store finances, including cash handling, inventory control, and budgeting.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail management experience
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly around the store
- Client Focus: Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with customers
- Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, providing support and guidance as needed
