Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Operations Manager to lead our district operations, drive business growth, and foster a culture of excellence in the retail pharmacy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor store operations through store managers and pharmacy managers to ensure seamless execution of company standards and pharmacy regulations.
- Develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide a smooth transition of new and/or acquired stores and store transfers to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Ensure stores are designed to meet customer needs while upholding the company brand and maintaining a competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Execute programs developed by Merchandising, Operations, and Pharmacy to meet financial and performance goals, including talent management, recruitment, and training.
- Provide leadership and motivation to store management to drive results and improve employee engagement.
- Maintain a full understanding of the impact of competition in the marketplace and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant management experience in retail (pharmacy retail in particular)
- Superior planning, organizational, and prioritization skills to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions and leading a large group of people to drive results and improve employee engagement.
- Ability to work independently and on a team to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ability to understand, plan, and execute budgets to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Valid driving license to travel to stores and meetings.
