Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Operations Manager to lead our district operations, drive business growth, and foster a culture of excellence in the retail pharmacy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor store operations through store managers and pharmacy managers to ensure seamless execution of company standards and pharmacy regulations.
- Develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide a smooth transition of new and/or acquired stores and store transfers to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute programs developed by Merchandising, Operations, and Pharmacy to meet financial and performance goals.
- Lead and motivate store management to achieve exceptional results and promote a culture of excellence.
- Oversee human resource activities, including talent management, recruitment, and training to ensure a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Promote a culture of learning and development within the store to drive employee growth and retention.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the impact of competition in the marketplace and develop strategies to stay ahead.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant management experience in retail (pharmacy retail in particular) with a proven track record of success.
- Superior planning, organizational, and prioritization skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions and leading a large group of people to achieve exceptional results.
- Ability to work independently and on a team to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ability to understand, plan, and execute budgets to drive financial performance.
- Valid driving license to travel between stores and locations.
