Our client, a leading global aerospace company, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. This exciting new opportunity offers a competitive compensation package and a chance to work in a dynamic, unionized manufacturing facility.

About the Role
  • Full-time position with a salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will provide leadership in the HR function, aligning with Company strategy and directives. They will lead a small but highly effective team and oversee all areas of HR, with a focus on Labour/Employee Relations and Performance Management.

Labor and Employee Relations Responsibilities
  • Act as Facility Lead for Union negotiations and collective agreements.
  • Resolve disputes, complaints, and grievances for all employees.
  • Manage exit strategies and ensure legal and collective agreement compliance.
  • Ensure personnel compliance with company policies, rules, regulations, and laws.
  • Deliver company communications related to Human Resources and company policies.
  • Formulate and align the HR Strategic Plan with company objectives.
Workforce Management Responsibilities
  • Participate in recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Maintain and provide advice regarding pension and benefits for employees and managers.
  • Manage annual performance appraisals and create performance improvement plans.
  • Liaise with management to determine areas requiring strengthening or improvement.
Requirements
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources (an asset).
  • 10-15 years HR experience in a unionized environment with 5-10 years of relevant management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
