About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for providing high-quality care to join our dynamic team. In this advanced clinical role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients recovering from anesthesia in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing post-anesthetic patients by collecting and evaluating information from various sources, including observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment.
  • Making a nursing diagnosis of the patient's condition and determining whether improvement or resolution can be achieved through appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Planning, performing, evaluating, and documenting nursing interventions and care.
  • Providing nursing care to address critical care needs of patients according to physicians' and anaesthetists' orders, and in conformance with established standards and hospital policies.
  • Initiating immediate treatment if required; modifying care as needs change.

We offer a competitive salary range of CAD $41.42 - $59.52 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
