As we expand our presence globally, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer (M/F) to contribute to Canadian projects focused on Small Modular Reactors (SMR) and nuclear fleet refurbishment programs.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Toronto area, starting in January 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading technical meetings to ensure seamless collaboration among team members
  • Crafting calculation notes and technical drawings to support project objectives
  • Maintaining accurate records of calculations and drawings
  • Providing technical oversight and resolving queries or issues
  • Reviewing and approving design concepts
  • Investigating non-conformances and exemptions requests, as well as open points and design changes
  • Mentoring other team members to enhance their skills and expertise
Requirements
  • A strong background in engineering, preferably with experience in nuclear engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian Nuclear Standards
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work methodically and efficiently
  • A willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to evolving project requirements
