Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Montana's BBQ & Bar. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and develop budgets to boost and maintain our restaurant's profits
  • Evaluate daily operations and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training to ensure that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional service
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
  • Supervise and manage staff schedules, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Ensure that our restaurant meets all health and safety regulations and standards
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Proven track record of success in managing budgets, staff, and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university degree an asset
