Role Overview

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to join our Global Transaction Banking team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of clients from local platforms to our global platform across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure seamless client migrations with minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to standardize communication and training material across regions.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are well-equipped to support the transition process.
  • Assess the impact of client transitions on internal teams and clients, identifying and mitigating change-related risks.
  • Develop and implement feedback loops to gather insights from stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Client Experience and Lifecycle team to gather client feedback.
  • Collaborate with communication teams to ensure clear, timely, and tailored change-related communications.
  • Support the incident management process by addressing transition-related issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Track and report on key change management metrics, including communication effectiveness, training uptake, and client adoption rates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in change management, project management, or a related role within financial services.
  • Proven experience in leading change management initiatives.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to drive complex initiatives to successful outcomes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and change management processes.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Working Conditions

  • Work in a standard office-based environment; moderate travel globally.
