Mortgage Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Mortgage Business Development Specialist. As a key member of our Retail Banking Sales and Service team, you will play a critical role in cultivating and building relationships with a third-party network of referral sources to drive business growth and increase our share of the home financing market.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and Pursue Sales Opportunities: Actively search for and pursue sales opportunities to achieve individual sales and profitability goals.
- Develop and Execute Marketing Programs: Develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs to drive business results and increase our share of the home financing market.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including realtors and lawyers, to generate referrals and drive business growth.
- Provide Expertise and Support: Provide expert knowledge and support to clients and team members on mortgage and insurance products, as well as general banking and financial services.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure we are providing the best possible solutions to our clients.
- Experience: Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience in mortgage sales, business development, or a related field.
- Education: Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills, as well as expertise in mortgage lending and insurance products.
