About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Bholi Sandhu, Sukhminder Malhi. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as dressing and toileting
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help alleviate feelings of loneliness
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
