Job Title: Personal Support Worker

Job Summary:

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a passionate and caring Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide personal care services to clients in their homes, ensuring their emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety are met to the greatest possible extent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services according to established care plans or assignment sheets.
  • Perform specialized client-specific procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
  • Observe and document client conditions according to company standards.
  • Report unusual events or changes in client conditions to the immediate Supervisor or Office.
  • Understand and implement infection prevention practices.
  • Competence in Samsung or Android device use and functionality.
  • Maintain confidentiality of electronic information and secure Samsung or Android devices.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle along with a PSW diploma or equivalent for an accredited institution, Private Career Colleges of Ontario, or Community College.

All candidate certification submission will be validated with the issuing institution to confirm authenticity.
