Job Title: Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Codes Corner Esso. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our retail store, including daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Operations: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, and manage staff and assign duties.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credits policies, locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, and develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, oversee payroll administration, conduct performance reviews, and supervise office and volunteer staff.
  • Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Work Environment: Retail service establishment, convenience store, retail business, and oil and gas industry
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Adaptability, efficiency, energetic, hardworking, positive attitude, proactive, quick learner, time management, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, team player, patience, and ability to multitask
