- Order Merchandise: Coordinate the receipt and storage of merchandise, ensuring stock levels are maintained and inventory is accurately tracked.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining store inventory levels.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making sales recommendations to drive sales growth.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is accurately tracked and stored.
- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and direct the activities of sales associates, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Cash: Process cash transactions, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Lead and develop a team of office and volunteer staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to support store operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
