Rodan Energy continues to drive growth in the clean energy sector, seeking a highly skilled sales professional who excels at building business relationships with large commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.

About the Role

As a Business Development Director - C&I, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, executing strategic partnerships, and delivering valuable solutions to clients. Your primary focus will be on North American deregulated energy markets.

This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong track record of driving business growth, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the energy transition landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify target accounts, develop them as prospects, and close them as customers
  • Develop a personal sales strategy and manage a pipeline to meet corporate business goals
  • Lead proposal development, collaborating with solution engineers, finance, energy markets, technology, and other professionals to deliver innovative business solutions
  • Initiate, maintain, and cultivate strategic partnerships to increase sales and broaden service offerings
  • Establish relationships from the 'C' suite to the shop floor, fostering a deep understanding of client needs and preferences
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 3-10 years of experience in a hunter sales role, preferably in demand response, distributed energy resource development, grid-edge technologies, or related fields
  • Proven ability to promote new energy services to customers, with a willingness to receive training and support
  • Proficiency in MS 365 Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.) and Salesforce, with a strong understanding of business applications
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, Rodan Energy offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a pension match and complete benefits package.
