About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at Vincent Chalifoux. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and provide personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to our team
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Immunization records and a Vulnerable Sector Check
Work Environment

Our clients live in remote locations, and we provide room and board. You will work in a non-smoking environment and be willing to relocate for this position.
