Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at United Foods Inc. O/A McDonald's Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve business objectives and provide excellent customer service.
  • Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
