Job Title: Head Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Coach to join our team at Orangetheory Fitness Affiliates. As a key member of our studio team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a dynamic team of fitness professionals, ensuring the success of our studio, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Studio Manager and Regional Leadership to develop and implement strategies for studio growth and success.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of fitness professionals, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure their success.
  • Recruit, train, and educate new OTF coaches to ensure they meet our high standards and are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Handle member concerns and issues in a professional and objective manner, with the goal of resolving them quickly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to guide interested consumers through their first Orangetheory workout, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Conduct regular fitness staff meetings and attend all relevant webinars and meetings to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Build and manage the monthly coaching schedule, ensuring a seamless and efficient delivery of our workouts.
  • Lead and motivate members through pre-designed workouts, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on the science behind our workouts, including heart-rate focused training programs, and be aware of industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our equipment and be able to demonstrate its proper use to our members.
Requirements:
  • Group Fitness and/or Personal Training certification
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • 15+ hours per week of coaching, in addition to all weekly Head Coach duties
