Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Coach to lead our fitness team at Orangetheory Fitness Affiliates. As a key member of our studio, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional fitness experiences to our members, while also driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Studio Manager and Regional Leadership to develop and implement business strategies that drive studio success.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a dynamic team of fitness professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success.
  • Recruit, train, and educate new OTF coaches to ensure they meet our high standards and are equipped to deliver exceptional fitness experiences.
  • Handle member concerns in a professional and objective manner, with the goal of resolution.
  • Work closely with the sales team to guide interested consumers through their first Orangetheory workout, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
  • Conduct fitness staff meetings and attend all relevant webinars and meetings to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Build and manage the monthly coaching schedule, ensuring optimal coverage and member satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate members through pre-designed workouts, providing a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
  • Stay up-to-date on the science behind our workouts, including heart-rate focused training programs, and be aware of industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our equipment and programming, ensuring seamless execution and member satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Group Fitness and/or Personal Training certification, along with CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
  • Minimum 20-25 hours per week in the studio, including 15+ hours of coaching and 10 hours of administrative duties.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional member experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
