About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Dufferin Aggregates - A CRH Company. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and education to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and wellness.
Requirements
  • University degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in a heavy industry environment.
  • Valid driver's license (Class G or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
