Position Overview:
As an Occupational Health & Safety Advisor, your role will involve coordinating and managing OH&S program initiatives to align with business goals and maintain a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and execute various OH&S programs and initiatives
  • Encourage a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with Human Resources for training and development initiatives
  • Provide OH&S guidance and support to management
  • Stay informed on legislative changes and enforce compliance
  • Assist with WSIB claim management and conduct accident investigations

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of OH&S principles and regulations
  • Experience in Health and Safety within an industrial environment is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
