Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at TRULITE GLASS & ALUMINUM SOLUTIONS CANADA, ULC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys and monitoring programs of the natural environment to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collect and analyze samples of materials to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Inspect workplaces for safety and health hazards, and develop and implement plans to address any issues found.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and illnesses, and initiate enforcement procedures as necessary.
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans, and ensure that all employees are trained on their responsibilities and procedures.
  • Advise senior management on health and safety matters, and participate in emergency response planning.
  • Implement and coordinate mine safety programs, and conduct training sessions for employees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or occupational health and safety.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, and ability to interpret and implement them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large workload.
