**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Trainer and Evaluator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating and evaluating learners and operators on various pieces of mobile equipment, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Facilitate in-person and online training courses to audiences across different industries while applying adult learning principles and best practices.
- Leverage industry knowledge and practical experience to accurately answer participant questions with sensitivity, professionalism, and inclusivity in mind.
- Evaluate operators on various pieces of mobile equipment, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
- Provide a pass or fail assessment to operators based on company policy and necessary competencies, ensuring fair and consistent evaluation practices.
- Ensure administrative requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including timesheets, expenses, etc.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to ensure seamless, accurate, and meaningful content delivery to clients.
**Requirements:**
- Certification in one of the following: Forklift, Aerial Work Platform, or Overhead Crane.
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in the Health and Safety Industry, in training evaluation or a related field preferred.
- Understanding and knowledge of legislation including but not limited to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Canadian Standards Association, the Canada Labour Code, and other applicable Health and Safety regulations preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus.
- Proficiency using Google Suite, with demonstrated tech-savviness and willingness and ability to embrace new technologies.
- Self-starter who can work successfully independently.
- Valid Ontario Drivers license with unrestricted access to operating a motor vehicle.
- Ability to travel across Southwestern Ontario, as needed to visit client sites.
- Clear criminal background check.
