Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Black Sheep Pub & Liquor Store. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient kitchen workflows to meet the demands of our busy pub.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain the quality of our menu offerings.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Kitchen Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and food quality.
- Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Ensure our team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Plan and manage inventory to minimize waste and optimize food costs.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and onboard new team members to support the growth of our kitchen team.
- Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage kitchen budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
- Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately track and report on kitchen performance metrics.
- Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef: Provide timely and accurate reports to support menu planning and inventory management.
- Supervise and Check Assembly of Trays: Ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage kitchen schedules to meet the demands of our business.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of work.
- 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
